AutoMock

Organtransplantation ist bei schweren Erkrankungen oder Unfällen oft die letzte Möglichkeit, die normale Funktionsweise des Körpers aufrechtzuerhalten, ohne die Funktionalität auf komplikationsbehaftete Gerätetherapien auszulagern. Einige Organe, wie die Niere, leiden besonders unter den Bedingungen nach der Entnahme des Spenderorgans bis zur Transplantation im Patienten. Lange Zeit wurden die Organe kalt gelagert, um irreversible Schäden, wie sie Beispielsweise durch Gerinnungsprozesse oder mangelnde Organversorgung entstehen, zu minimieren. Studien haben bei Organen, die durch einen künstlichen Kreislauf bei körperähnlichen Temperaturen versorgt wurden, signifikant weniger Schädigung feststellen können.

Projektziele

Im Rahmen des BMBF-Projekts AutoMock wird ein automatisierter Mockloop zur Langzeituntersuchung und Optimierung der Organperfusion unter verschiedensten Umständen entwickelt. Auf dieser Basis wird der Einfluss von Perfusionsparametern und pharmazeutischer Einflussnahme untersucht. Weiterhin ist der Teststand auch zum Testen von perfundierten Medizinprodukten geeignet.
