About me

I am a member of the Cyber-Physical Mobility Group.

Research

I am conducting research as part of the project HarMobi (Harmonizing Mobility). Besides, I am responsible for organizing the CPM Olympics, a yearly competition focused on trajectory planning for connected and autonomous vehicles.

My current research focuses on cooperative decision-making in the context of connected and automated vehicles (CAVs). Specifically, I am drawn to use mathematical optimisation tool to drive my research.

I firmly believe that CAVs are the key enablers for future intelligent transportation systems. By intertwining connectivity and automation, CAVs enhance not only individual vehicle performance but also contribute to a holistic, cooperative transportation ecosystem. Connectivity, through vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure interactions, improves situational awareness, while automation reduces human error. Together, they could significantly improve the safety and sustainability of our roads. Thus, I think CAVs' potential to revolutionize all transportation sectors would position them as a cornerstone for next-generation intelligent transportation systems.
